For over three decades, Rusana Jutex has been crafting the finest eco-products made from Bangladesh’s golden fiber — jute.
Founded in the 1990s, we have grown from a small local factory into a global exporter known for our dedication to sustainability, craftsmanship,
and timeless design. We started from small spining factory, focusing on manufacturing industrial ropes from jute yarn. Now, with modern facilities near Dhaka, a skilled team of artisans, and over 35 years of expertise,
we proudly supply natural and eco-friendly products to clients in more than 30 countries.

Materials & Range
Our production covers a broad range of eco-friendly and premium materials to meet client requiremnets and expectations:
1. Jute Rope / Diameter range: 4mm to 40mm / 100% natural jute yarn / High tensile strength and even finish
Ideal for packaging, decoration, agriculture, and marine use
2. Jute Felt / Natural, biodegradable padding and insulation material / Custom thickness and density per client request
Applications: isolation, agriculture, footwear, furniture, automotive, crafts
3. Jute Sliver (Short & Long) / High-grade jute fiber slivers for spinning and nonwoven industries / Available in short or long formats depending on end use
Development Process

RAW MATERIALS PURCHASE
Premium-grade jute yarn sourced directly from trusted suppliers. Mullti-stage inspection process.
Raw fiber quality check
Spinning and twist uniformity
Final tensile and moisture test

Twisting (Rope Making)
Several yarn bobbins (e.g., 3, 4, or 6 depending on rope size) are placed on creels.
The yarns pass through a rotating twisting head that spins them together.
The twisting direction and tension are carefully controlled (usually “Z” or “S” twist).
For thicker ropes (e.g., 20mm–40mm), smaller twisted strands are twisted again in the opposite direction — called “double twist” or “three-strand rope.”

FINNISHING
he finished rope is wound into coils or hanks (typically 100–200 meters).
Each coil is measured, inspected for diameter and twist consistency.
Some ropes may be treated with light oil or wax for smoother handling.
Our industrial unit is optimized for both high-volume and custom production runs.
Each batch is carefully monitored to ensure consistency in diameter, strength, and fiber uniformity.
